So I consider myself extremely lucky ,in the journey of graphotherapy my student, Manish Kumar Sahu,guides me.For me graphotherapy has been like meditation ,it gives me clarity of thought, and action.It has made me less anxious towards things that are beyond my control, made me focus on my health and well being without neglecting any of my core duties.I am extremely greatful to Manish. From Heartbreak to Miracle: How Graphotherapy Brought Us Our Dream Baby Girl

I, Sagarika Sahu, Bank Manager and sister of Manish Kumar Sahu, want to share our family’s journey with graphotherapy.

Our son Aayush Sahu (8 yr) was diagnosed with sickle‑cell anemia when he was just 2 years old. We all got tested and found that both my husband and I are carriers of the sickle‑cell trait. That hit us hard. We felt low, depressed, and guilty — “Did we cause this for Aayush?” It was a heavy, dark feeling, like a weight we couldn’t bear.

The doctors said a bone‑marrow transplant might help, and they suggested stem cells from a future sibling. We tried for a second child, but we suffered two miscarriages in one year. The loss was agonizing. I felt shattered, empty, and the pain of those miscarriages was overwhelming. Life became a real struggle. I was pregnant with high blood pressure, bleeding, gestational diabetes, and endless doctor visits, all while juggling a demanding job and Aayush’s medical needs. I felt isolated, anxious, scared — I wondered if we’d ever have a healthy child.

I always wanted a baby girl, and this desire was there deep in me. The whole situation made it feel painful, even more bittersweet.

In November 2024, my brother Manish — who’s also my coach and encourager — suggested graphotherapy. I was skeptical: “How can changing my handwriting help?” But I was desperate for peace. Graphotherapy turned out to be a revelation. It helped me see myself more clearly, brought calm, and lifted my mood. The fog lifted. I could finally let go of the guilt and feel hope again. I started to believe we could manifest something positive.

I was 36, and my third pregnancy (conceived February 2025) was still high‑risk, but graphotherapy gave me a steadier feeling. I could handle the constant precautions without feeling completely overwhelmed. Then, a miracle: a healthy, beautiful baby girl, born on the ninth day of Navratri, as if goddess Durga herself arrived. It felt like a magic manifestation of a girl child — we named her Aadhya, and she’s brought a feeling of contentment and completeness. We now have a loving son, Aayush, and the gift of Aadhya, “Durga’s blessing.”

The pain of the miscarriages and the self‑blame still stay with me, but graphotherapy gave me space to heal, to feel hopeful, and to believe a healthy baby was possible. I’m grateful for the peace, the new perspective, and the feeling that our family finally feels whole.
